Longer line offers higher horsepower machines to fill out the line.

AGCO's successful ST line gets an extension with four new compact models in a larger chassis format. Three of the new machines can be outfitted with a factory installed ROPS cab and all four are designed to be used with a new pedestal-mount loader for greater versatility around the farm.

Here's a quick rundown on the four new models and all engines are Tier II EPA certified. The 33-engine horsepower ST34A features a naturally aspirated 3-cylinder diesel engine. The ST41A has a turbocharged 3-cylinder, 40-engine hp powerplant. The ST47A has 47.5 engine hp. The ST52A has 52.1 engine hp. Both the ST47A and ST52A are naturally aspirated.

A factory-installed cab with standard heat and A/C is a significant new option on three AGCO ST Series models: ST34A, ST47A, and ST52A.

The line offers four transmission choices to match the specific farm operation. The 8x8 has two ranges with four gears in each range. The 12x12 PowerShuttle features a clutchless change of direction. And there is a hydrostatic and a Quadrashift transmission choice.

The tractors feature a lot of conveniences including easy-on and easy-off access, suspended pedals and tilt steering wheels. Controls have been carefully placed and there's a deluxe adjustable seat to help control operator fatigue. The hood and grill tilt up for easy maintenance access - even with a loader mounted to the machine - and side panels pop off without power tools.

The factory installed ROPS cab is equipped with heating and air conditioning, wiper/washer and front and rear work lights. Operators also get wide visibility from the new cab with curved rear windows and two-door access. For more information, check out the ST Series at www.agcotractors.agcocorp.com.
