A Web Change is Coming

We're retooling our Web sites to offer you more features and flexibility to maximize your time online.

The way everyone uses the Internet has changed in the past five years, moving from slow dial-up to high-speed connections, from busy farmers who want access to key information at all hours of the day and night, to changes in the kinds of information you seek. At Farm Progress we've been watching these trends as we look at the Web experience we offer you. And we think it's time we changed how we do business on the Web.

This afternoon, after 4 p.m. Central Time, you'll see the fruit of that labor. A team of Web designers, programmers and others here at Farm Progress and with our Web partner Inet Solutions, have come together to create a new experience. When you visit this local Web site later today, you'll find a totally different look, feel and experience.

We don't want to spoil the wide range of surprises we have in store, but realize that the Web site you visit later today will offer a range of new benefits, customizable information features, and a host of other add-ons not previously available in the ag market. And this is just the start, we're embarking on a new Web development program that aims to provide you added information in a simple format you can get to when needed - from anywhere.

We have tested the site with farmers and know you'll find plenty of new features to check out on the site. Spend some time checking it out and use the customization tools to make it your own.

And starting this weekend on Saturdays, we'll offer tips, tricks and updates to help you enhance your Web experience. Called Saturday Web Updates, these articles will aim to help you navigate the new sites, and continue to enhance your ability to take advantage of the technology.

So check out this site after 4 p.m. CDT. And welcome to a new Web experience.
