The Colorado Ag Leadership Program has received a $5,000 DuPont Pioneer grant towards their ag education programming.

"We are proud to support the Colorado Ag Leadership Program and the work they are doing to prepare and equip future leaders to solve big issues for the future," says Jerry Uhrig, DuPont Pioneer local account manager. "We need individuals passionate about agriculture to help feed and provide the fuel and fiber needed locally and across the world."

Noting that it is an honor to receive the award "as we develop leaders for agriculture," DuPont was lauded for its vision to "create spokespersons for the ag industry" by Jerry Sonnenberg, former chairman of the Colorado House Agriculture Committee and president of the CALP.
