The 2009 Blackland Income Growth program annual event is will be at the Heart O' Texas Fairgrounds at 4601 Bosque Boulevard on Feb. 2 and 3 in Waco, Texas.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, followed with beef, grain, and horticulture sessions starting at 9 a.m. After lunch, sessions follow at 2 p.m. with forage, cotton and wildlife on the agenda.
Private applicator training and testing will be offered on Feb. 3, and the program is worth 5 continuing education units.
Held in conjunction with the BIG conference is the Mid-Tex Farm and Ranch Show hosted by the Waco Chamber of Commerce.
Exhibits and vendors for farm, ranch and wildlife will be set up in the Coliseum and Exhibits Building.
There are 12 million acres in the BIG area.
