Email Blog RSS Permalink Print The annual Topeka Farm and Ranch Show was packed in the morning and busy all day on Tuesday as visitors hurried to take in the show ahead of a severe winter storm, which forecasters say will hit on Wednesday. Sue Schulte with the Kansas Corn Growers Association, said her booth was busy all morning long and many visitors said they were trying to beat the weather. Tom Leffler with Leffler Commodities said he's done good business at this year's show but, he too, was worried that things will slow down on Wednesday if the predicted storm rolls in. Traffic is usually up for the middle day of the show because the annual Kansas Soybean Expo is scheduled for that day and pulls in additional visitors.
