El Dorado Non-Profit Works to Feed the Hungry

I don't know how many of you have heard of Numana.

I hadn't until today.

But I think this El Dorado, Kan.-based non-profit company has the potential to change the world.

Numana is dedicated to providing food for the starving people of the world on an emergency basis. They aren't about solving world hunger in the Norman Borlaug model. They are about "now" meals for kids that will die tomorrow if they don't eat today.

They engage thousands of volunteers to package meals for millions of people with "events" that they stage across the U.S.

To find one near you,, just email rick@numanainc.com.

The organization supports efforts to improve agriculture in starving countries as well as efforts to improve profitabilty of agriculture in developed nations.
