The FFA tribute this week goes to Amara Jackson, National FFA president.

Amara grew up in a small Michigan town and showed horses with her family. Her love for ag developed during her time in FFA. She enjoyed being involved in her local chapter, and loved attending her first state convention. After her first convention, she was excited to get more involved. Another highlight was attending the Washington Leadership Conference.

As president, she’s responsible to lead and chair the national FFA board of directors and sit on the board of trustees. She’s enjoyed learning how the national organization operates and sharing her voice on those boards.
